Default Where does hose go for intake??

I installed the short ram portion of the injen intake and I cant figure out what to do with the hose that came off of the stock intake. It's short so it can't reach anywhere on the injen intake. What am I soupose to do with this hose? I left it disconnected under the hood for now. Is this alright? Thanks for any input.

just get the diameter of the hose you need and buy a new one at the locar hardware or autoparts store. The one in the intake kit is just a peice of hose and a male/male barbed plastic connector.
