Is the wheel well cover permanently removed in this install?

Absolutely not. The intake cone sits in the space between the wheel well cover and the front bumper. Here is a pic (not great quality, sorry) that shows the cone from the Nismo intake with front bumper removed. You can easily see how it all fits together.

When I installed mine it was very close to the fender liner. Just adjust the pipes some more and it will fit.

Like folks said above, you keep the fender liner. You need to temporarily remove it while installing the filter, but you put it back on afterwards. I was actually able to simply undo many of the screws on the liner and carefully pull back on it far enough to get the filter in. Never had to fully remove the liner.

Yea, the last part of adjusting the pipes was the hardest but thanks for your replies. Im gonna finish this up on Wed.

just need to remove the few bottom screws / clips from the fender well... you can do it without removing the wheel if you cut it all the way to the left (depending on your wheel . tire size...
