Alright after listening to those samples here are the winners in order.
Injen (good deep bottom, mids to highs have gnarly gurgle)
Borla (sound nearly identical to Injen, price difference?)
Stillen (good deep bottom, mids to highs a little buzzy)
5Zigen (this ones seems to be missing the resonator gurgle in the mid to high range, hear more of the motor than the exhaust)
So now...what does adding CAI, HF Cats and headers do to all these?
Or do all those cars have such things installed in those test clips?

If you want that sound I would get resonated test pipes, headers and either an Ultra Flo or Flowmaster 80 muffler (with 2 1/2" inlets). For insurance, I'd replace the stock resonator with a big glass pack. This should yield that gurgly push rod sound that you're lookin' for. Good luck.

That sounds like what I want... any sounds of the FlowMaster?
I also like the Borla sound, the Nismo sounds very much like Stock, only louder, maybe thats why everyone likes it

In your list Mr Q u said that injen sounds identical to borla...i had borla on my car and it sound really really close to stock...i got injen now and it in no way sounds any way close to borla....in my opinion i think injen is the best way to go.....sound GREAT...couldnt look any cooler!!! Ive heard stillen on a g35 wit a manual trans. and it sounded more like stock than borla did. Wouldnt trade injen for any other exhaust out there...

If you want your z to sound like a honda civic with a 4" tip, get the Nismo. Nothing out there has a deeper, tough sound than BORLA. Like Stock but slightly louder and deeper. + It costs much less than Nismo. Nismo is a rip off, for the gains you get.

I have a Nismo exhust + intake and it surely does not sound like a civic. I like the sound... it is not too loud (but not quiet) but has this deep sound

And it has the looks too... Runs about $2600. though.

Borla, Stillen, APS, and Magnaflow are the deepest hands down.
I'd go with Borla or APS...Stillen weighs too much and Magnaflow...isn't a true dual.

Maybe my eyesight is failing me, but do I see "wrinkled elbow bends" on that Amuse exhaust? There is no way it is making 15HP (crank or wheel?) if it isn't even Mandrel bent... And it isn't a TD, but with 2 mufflers and a larger mid-pipe it maybe have the same effect as x-over TD. Nice though, looks like all titanium I bet it weighs nothing

I'm also interested in the JIC Spartan type 2 (stainless or titanium) as it should mate well with my JIC y-pipe. I haven't been able to find any sound clips for the type 2 anywhere on the Internet.
Is anyone out there running the JIC Spartan type 2 on their 350Z? And does anyone know of any clips for this exhaust system?
Thanks.

I'm not sure why the Spartan type 2 is not talked about much. It's suppose to be an insane exhaust. I just ordered the titanium. It takes a long time to get but I think it will be worth it. I wish there was more feed back but it seems as though theres not. Any idea on how new this model is?
