exhaust leaking

you can get under the car, and check all the bolts first, to make sure that they are all tight. Make sure the gaskets are ok too, you can spray some soapy water on the flanges, and start the car up, and see if there are any leaks. if there are, the water will bubble at the flange, and you can tell that way. But you will have to do this when the exhaust is cool, otherwise the water will just boil off etc....
or you can just take it to an exhaust shop like a speedway muffler or midas etc... and they can test the exhast for you.
but basically, just make sure the bolts are all tightened up.
if you start to hear sputtering coming from under the car, (not a sound the exhaust makes that you just happen to hear, but actual noise coming from directly under you), then you may have a leak.
