Default Amuse R1 Titan Loud?

I'm contemplating getting the Amuse R1 Titan soon.. simply because it's the most beautiful exhaust I've ever seen

I'm currently pimpin' a Borla TD.. Is the Amuse much louder in comparison to the Borla? Is there anyone that has heard both exhausts and can tell me for sure? I really like the tone of the Borla and the sound level is just right for me.. I know I'll prolly loose power going from a dual to a Y pipe too but that Amuse is just so sexy..

I heard it at a meet last year and didnt think it was any louder than the stock exhaust, much less the Borla. It does look nice though.

Mike, you can try and compare the sounds between the two exhausts here: Everything350Z.com's exhaust sound clip "gallery"

At idle and up to about 3500 it is no louder than the stock exhaust. I also have the JIC y-pipe, and after 3500 it is the sweetest sound I ever heard from a Z. By the time you hit the redline it is louder than stock, but at that point, loudness is the least of your concern. If you can afford it and like the looks, the sound is just gravy.

It is not very loud at all. It is not intimidating by any means, but it definitely sounds pretty nice.

With headers, hi-flow cats and aftermarket y-pipe. It get pretty loud at WOT... The weight savings is amazing..
