under the Stillen group buy for 727.98 is a good deal right now. I paid much more when they just came out. I think they are nice headers, close to the USDM Nismo headers in quality. They have minor quality issues inside the flanges, like not ground as smooth as i would like but nothing that will cause performance loss. Other than that, I haven't had a problem with them at all and they don't increase the sound that much if you have a stock exhaust. I don't think they were true equal length, but they did seem to put out good dyno numbers if i recall the old posts correctly. When i put them on, i already had intake and cat back, but i thought it still made a difference on the butt dyno. With a cat back i think it sounds great, it starts getting loud when you add the hi flow cats. I think it's a solid product, can't go wrong with these or the Nismo headers.

Installed my headers with the Vortech so I'm not sure about power gain but it deepend the sound of my exhaust a little louder or throaty.

Default according to everything I've seen

so far, the Stillen Headers were advertised as equal length and the dyno gains I saw suggested very good numbers, much higher than NISMO.

does anybody have any comments?

Well here's the numbers i heard when i got mine put on. I heard the stillens were about 15hp, the nismo's about 12, DC's about 12, Alphaworks claims 21, borla claims 9 i think. The only higher numbers i've heard was if you went with long tube headers like the crawfords. If you're just looking for HP without smog issues, maybe you should look into those? If you're getting below the group buy price, buy them (stillen), they're solid.

combined with the strait pipes, yea they did make a difference. but honestly, i heard that nismo, stillen, DC sports, and topspeed didnt really put out any numbers..but supposedly the crawford headers are pretty nuts.. im eventually gonna switch to the crawford headers after i do other mods. my info. could be wrong but i jut thought id throw in my two cents
