Cam/Header install?

For those of you with cams. Did your installers remove the heads or did they put the cams in without removing the heads.
If the heads are removed, can headers go in from the top saving money by installing both the cams and headers at the same time?
I am doing both of these mods in the immediate future and am trying to find the best route as far as install is concerned.

That's correct. You do not remove the heads, and it is much easier to do the headers at that time. If you remove the heads, it would be much more trouble than it's worth.
No need to remove the heads unless you are tossing in some new valves to go along with those cams. Normally even the valve springs and retainers can be done without taking off the heads.

header install is drastically reduced when installing the parts...
