Default Fujitsubo Legalis Elegant

I was passing the time at work and ran across this.

Hmmm...looks like Fujitsubo has a new exhaust!

No audio to make a comment on but I really dislike the look. This car needs "sport" more than "elegance".

I agree. I'm not really digging the look.

I dunno, I kind of like it. I'd have to see a real-life pic of it, though. The two sound level graphs are interesting. Don't know what they say, but I'm assuming the first one is idle or maybe highway cruising, and the second is full throttle? I like the idea of an exhaust that is quieter on the freeway, but louder when you get on it.

Compare to the sound levels of Legalis Ti or the Legalis R.

I think this is intended for the G35.

One thing that catches my eye is that the volume at 3000 rpm is the same as stock. That's right around where a Z cruises on the freeway, so any loudness there can get really annoying on long road trips. I like seeing exhausts that are quiet on the freeway.

Of course, I'd have to hear it in person to know for sure. (Just like any exhaust.)

What are the thoughts on Fujitsubo compared to APS's exhaust system or say Borla TD?

That's the look Nissan should have put on as OEM. I always thought the round exhaust tips looked way too ricey. The ovals are perfect!

Looks good. Reminds me of the HKS Legamax. I'll haveta reserve judgement till I see it on an actual car tho.

I agree, I think it's really sharp on a G. I was considering the R but will definitely look into this one. Nice find, thanks

Best price on this thing is $1200 shipped. For just a y-pipe back system?

Wow... that is pricey. I couldn't see paying $1200 for just a mid pipe and muffler. Perhaps if the price comes down I"ll look into it again. Maybe a group buy or something? With so many quiet exhaust options on the market below $800 I dont see why they would charge so much... I guess they figure ppl will pay more for the elegance factor :P

Fuji's full TI system is anywhere from $1800-2100 for the y-pipe back...
