YES! Its time again for ANOTHER EXHAUST THREAD!
anyhow, this is slightly different exhuast question. instead of asking, which is deeper, louder, bigger, badder, ect. i instead began to realize that most people on the board have the same exhaust, Injen SES. anyhow, i love this exhuast. simply put i think its one of the best "bangs for bucks" mods you can do. (notice i didnt say THEE best mod, as there seems to be much controversy as to what is better, ect.)
anyhow, this is a question concerning uniqueness!
i dont think i want this exhuast anymore. so many people are begining to realize what i did when i bought one of the first straight tipped Injen SES, great power, sound and price. not to mention the looks are to die for. but who knows. maybe im maturing more. now i should go to say that i love everything about this exhaust. noise doesn't bother me. so really the question i am trying to get to is whether or not i should sell it in favor of some more unqiue. i was thinking maybe a single exhuast. only problem is i dont know where i can find a decent looking single exhaust that isnt almost the entire price as my injen. i mean is there any single exhaust that will include a higher flowing Y-pipe compared with buying another named brand y-pipe? now i know power gains are nice with this exhaust, so truthfully does anyone think im going to notice a drop in power? even if the power does drop, will it be significant? also what is the going rate for a used Inejn SES (straight tips)? since an exhaust is an exhaust, meaning its not like tires or any other continual wearing part. so i dont think mileage upon the exhuast should greatly affect pricing. anyhow i thought i would include my mileage on the exhaust anyhow, has about 10k miles on the exhaust. no dents. polished every month. YES! EVERY MONTH, I WOULD PUT MY CAR ON THE LIFT, CLEAN THE ENTIRE UNDERBODY WITH DEGREASER AND WATER. AFTER THAT I WOULD POLISH THE ENTIRE EXHAUST SYSTEM.
anyhow, if you had to chose an exhuast, with no limitations, noise isn't a factor, which would you choose based on uniqueness?
thanks,
john

I was considering the 5zigen exhausts for a while but went a different way.
I had been trying to get a Tommy Kaira stainless steel exhaust for months, but I'm convinced it doesn't exist.

The tommy kaira does exist, but I havent been able to find a site that sold it for less than $2800, thats right 2800 dollars for an exhaust! Greddy has a good system (cheap), so does Stillen, the Blitz one sounds good, and the Power Enterprise looks the best (JDM with dual angled tips on each side) but is expensive as well
