I fixed the vibration.
I used 2 washer both side of the sturt bar, any more washers and the bolt have nothing to hold.
So I decided to play with the strut adjustment....
I just adjusted the strut bar and (pulled wrench forward) torqed it to raise it up a bit, vibration is gone now.

So all you did to fix the vibration is adjusting the strut bar?
I was thinking about trimming the engine cover!

To me, there are only dissadvantages in having a "full" modified plenum.

I looked at it for a bit and I thought what does adjusting this bar do? I had no clue it raised or lowered and I "assume" it does this by flexing the bar.

I have to agree with Nano...why spend an extra $100 + what you're going to have to spend on a new crawford strut bar. So really it's like another $220...
I'm still all giddy about installing my AAM spacer...so glad I squeaked in at the last minute. Otherwise, I too would be kicking myself now.

Yeah I agree, after thinking its going to be $395 +$150 for the strut bar, so thats a lil bit too much.
I've emailed David and should be done ordering today. I'm really excited.

I would think adding tension to the point that the bar flexes upwards could have adverse affects on your alignment as it would potentially move the upper strut attachment points outward a few mm. As you may know, our cars are very senstive to alignment settings. Of course this is all conjecture until someone puts it on an alignment rack, adds enough tension to the bar to bend it and then sees if toe, caster or camber changes.
I'm attaching Removal and Installation instructions from the service manual.
