Question Silly Precautionary Question...

I got the Nismo Exhaust installed on my car a couple of weeks back and have yet to take the car to the car wash because of all this rain here in So. CA. Anyhow, I usually wash the Z myself but since i'm not going to have any time anytime soon I need to get it washed in a regular car wash. I notice that the pipe on this exhaust runs closer to the ground. And so the question I have is this: Has anyone scratched or damaged their aftermarket exhaust by taking their Z to the car wash? I know it probably isn't likely but i'm not about to take any chances. Thanks for your input...
