crawford headers
hey i was wondering if the crawford headers are worth the price? ive been looking at them and they claim about 10+ hp over the DC headers... is this true?? does anybody have a pair they dont need anymore because they moved to f/i??
only person I know that has them is ZBOY..... He has quite a few bolt on's, and he said those headers are the only part he actually felt a noticable difference with
I say go for it if you can install them yourself...they cost a grip to get installed..

yup, they are a bzitch to install, but they made my z a different car, a mad-pulling beast, even tho installd after my other mods. if you can afford it, do it; you will be very pleased with the results.
these are the only headers even worth touvhing in my opinion. why? because changing headers is a hard and time consuming task. if you are going to do as much work as it requires, you might as well get the BEST while you are at it so that you make your time well worth it. there are no headers designed like the crawford. why? because no one wants to r&d such a complicated design. all the other headers out there are very simplistic are similar to each other which is why the gains are minimal on those. yes, you spend a little more with the crawfords, but at least you are doing it right.

p.s. if something didn't make sense please excuse me, this was a drunk post.

the headers are nice and seem to help a lot, but don't buy into the insane hype that acts like the car is twice as fast or anything.
Was the 12hp worth the $1600-1800 AKA about 1/20 of what a new Z costs? eh well i guess so
