Default Service Engine Soon Light with Evo2 Exhaust?

I recently purchased my 2003 Touring and a week into the car I go and install a Greddy Evo 2 exhaust, and under a time constraint I failed to bend up the hard line leading to the Evap box and is rattling against the muffler. To protect the rubber lines against the heat, I used C&R gold foil and called it a night.

Out of nowhere, I am sitting in a parking garage and after idling for 3-45 minutes, my Service Engine Soon Light comes on! The Idle seems to be a hair above 600 rpm and a very faint stutter to bring it down to a hair below 600. Feel like the engine idles too low for my taste. So I followed technosquare's procedure to resetting ECU and TPS and such and the light goes off and stays off.

Has anybody had a problem like this? What would you guys suggest doing in my case? Maybe it is not related at all?!

UPDATE:

Later that night, I went a resent the ECU by using TS's directions and was good to go. I finished that take of gas and filled up this morning. 25 miles after filling up, The light comes on again! I checked the gas cap and it is good to go.

Any suggestions?

You are most likely having a "minor evap leak" causing the code.

Have you searched out evap relocation? If not, do that, I posted a bunch of info on how to properly relocate the box. At first I was throwing that code, but I have since redone all the hoses to the box and have been rid of the code.

Search my username and "evap" and you should find some decent info, if not, PM and I'll send you some good stuff.
