Crawford Package Pre & Post Dyno Results...
...are coming shortly. DOH!
Last Friday G35sean and I headed to Lokey Infiniti in Clearwater, Florida to have the Crawford Headers, cats and plenum installed. Long story short, due to a lengthy 2 car Crawford Header install and this one bolt that just would not go back on the car, Sean had to leave his car at the dealership (and drive a nice, new loaner for the week).
Before Sean got to Lokey, he went to dyno his car at "Costal" in Brandon, FL and did a bone stock dyno on his 2003 G35 coupe 5AT. He then installed the z-tube (with the car still on the dyno) and gained 6rwhp at peak. This Friday he will be going back to get his G35 and will drive about 40 miles to Costal and he will do 3 more pulls to see how much hp/tq the CRAWFORD PACKAGE gave him.
Just thought some of you would like to see the dyno results.
Oh yeah, this Friday night we're headin' out to the Orlando Speedway for some friendly 1/4 mile runs... Stay Tuned.

I just got my car back today! Installed the Crawford Headers, and CATS! WOw, this thing pulls hard, and sounds so throaty. I can definitely feel a huge difference, i was pretty amazed. I have a dyno sheet before install and im hoping to re-dyno it soon. I too will post them up! My previous numbers are...
Dynapack Dyno
263.4 rwhp @ 6700 rpm
and for torque i got 861.1 (does anyone know how to convert this to ft/lbs??????) @ 4700 rpm
These numbers are SAE corrected.
Im hoping to gain 10-15 at the wheels.. does this sound to optimistic??

It's been almost 7 days since I've had just the Crawford header install completed (and I switched from RT Cats to Crawford Cats at the same time) and I still can't wipe the grin off of my face. I can't imagine what those of you who install the entire plenum, header and cat package must feel like when you take your cars out for a spin. I am completely amazed at the way the vehicle has changed and I already had RT Cats and the V5 Plenum.I too can't wait for the dyno results. With any luck I may even be able to post them BEFORE we head to the track tomorrow (Friday) around 4:30-ish EST. The main reason why I want these results is to stop everyone from saying "no one's dynoed Crawford products" and "they're not worth the money". It really sucks to be stoked about a GREAT PRODUCT then be labled as "trying to justify spending that much money". If they only knew...
The proof is coming!
Also, just for the record...
My best 1/4 mile on my 2004.5 G35C-6MT is 14.4 at ~98mph (~2.1XX, 60' time) with 1/2 tank of gas and ~200lbs in the trunk/backseat.
G35Seans best 1/4 mile time on his 2003.5 G35C-5AT is 14.5 at ~98mph (I think ~2.1XX 60' time) with 1/8 tank of gas and empty trunk.
We will post back our new 1/4 mile times to see how they compare.

And what unit of measurement was the 861.1 taken in? We'd need to know that to be able to convert it to ft-lbs.

Spoke with Doug and he said that the Infiniti Dealership must have unplugged the Throttle Body
We will have another dyno day on May 7th. We will have stock G35's and modded G35's of all makes and models. Sean is going to dyno then instead of going back to Tampa (2 hour drive).
We'll have a stock 2003 5AT to do a baseline run on and we'll do some fancy math between Sean's stock run and the other G's stock run to average the numbers. We'll use this to approximate Sean's gains. Should be much better than the 7rwhp he got when he dynoed BEFORE resetting the ECU.

(makes sense) when installing the plenum and resetting the ECU was needed to tell the computer if the TB was open or closed.
