zquicksilver, lol...and why doesn't Borla, Injen, and Stillen get together to make an exhaust? Or APS and GReddy get together to make a turbo kit? Or Injen and JWT together to make an intake? Or Crawford, AAM, Motordyne, and Kinetix together to make an upper and lower intake replacement? ...this could go on and on.

Not to add to the fire here, but...

How are the dynos done for other products? Are we just saying that once they install a part they dyno the car and say look there are the gains? I hope not...in fact I also hope that the numbers are not being made off of dynos on different days...I know it is a pain especially with the install times on the 350z, but if the baseline and after dynos are not all done on the same day, no matter how good the gains look, I personally cannot accept them as valid because too many factors become variable when you dyno on different days...

Maybe its just me and I am very **** when it comes to these things, but I do not think that I am alone on this.

I kinda wish a few of those companies would merge, heck all the bigger companies are doing it these days! C'mon, jump on the bandwaggon!! hh,ahha,ha,ha...

Just think, a TD exhaust that sounds good and has a 1 million mile warranty*.

Or a truly safe and complete TT system, as if it were factory.

Or an Intake that would not get heat soak and ingest water, while retaining the benifits of short ram.

Or a truly top notch "high tech" plastic intake plenum that doesn't crack while fending off heat

That I guess would be a trouble free and perfect world...

*Whoops, Borla's got that one covered.

I think what needs to be said here is what is proven and what's not. The Crawford headers are proven and I like the fact of them having 26" primary's. I like the fact that low end HP will be there and If I remember right doesn't torque win races? I sure what high redline HP. Oh the Crawfords do that to. Sounds to me that the Crawfords are a well balanced tuned header and have been around for a year or too. And besides you can always call Doug Stewart if you have any questions. Who are you going to call with the other brands?

I am going to have post up some dyno's of the crawford headers SOON. Right now i have the dyno sheets for everything but the crawford headers and cats. Im very curious to what i pull because i can definitely tell a difference! BTW, ill be using the SAME DYNO (dyna pack).

The only downside that i can think of is the install, they are a bit more complicated (its a tight squeeze, but they utilize the all space available!). However, the instructions are very clear and if you know what you are doing, it shouldnt be that hard. Headers and HFC combo was worth EVERY PENNY... TO ME

Exclamation Just exactly where are..

the independent dynos on Crawford headers posted here anyway?...I see alot of claims made, but I don't see alot of numbers.

I also notice that every time alphawerks gets mentioned, some crawford A-- kisser all over them.

Just post the independent numbers for the crawford headers like Victor did. Sometimes it gets a little bit deep in here.

Believe it or not, Stillen makes good headers too. Hey, some even like NisMO!

I guesss we could just rename this entire forum the Crawford A-- kissing place, but then the hits might drop...LOL

This thread is called "best headers" and so people will give their input and share their opinion. SO what if they like the crawfords, or any other brand, you take what you want from this thread and you move on. in the end its your money, your decision, YOUR CAR.. what people think doesnt really matter.

I will try to dyno my car real soon just to share some numbers...

BTW..WOTNOT, wanna buy my y-pipe and exhaust? you can drive down and pick it up... check the clips, they exclude the headers and cats....PM if you are interested

Are the alpha headers "off road use only"?

The headers are not for "race use only" although we do offer special heat coating for race teams much like we do for several NASCAR TEAMS when they come race in Homestead, FL. So, the Alphawerks headers are clear in every state without CARB. That means they are no problem in 49 states. For CARB (Cali.Air Resources Board) we are pending CARB approval which means they will be clear to use in the near future. But as many know in CA, there are ways around this I believe.
