Default valve cover oil leak due to headers

I've noticed i had a oil leak and i brought my car to the dealership to check it out and they added ultra violet dye into my car and they did say i had a oil leak however they said its because i had aftermarket headers. The headers were producing too much heat since i never put back on my heatshield causing some parts of engine gaskets to expand thus leaking oil. The oil leakage is so small they said that they can not pin point where it is but its not a dangerous situation that im in.

Did i just get rejected by the dealership for modding my engine or are they really telling me the truth. They also said to put back on the heat sheild and the problem might go away. What do you guys think?

Interesting. I didn't know the stock manifold had a heatshield?

They just came up with an excuse to blow you off, some of these engines have had valve cover leaks, mine had it shortly after buying it and I never had headers on and after that I have been running with the TT which doesn't have shields on the exhaust manifolds and no leaks beacuase of heat.
