Nismo cold air intake

I got it because it is Nismo, looks great, and I still feel it performs as well as any other intake in normal driving conditions. I definitely felt it was worth putting a $265 intake on a $30,000 car.

That's a nice looking intake. Where is the air sensor located? It looks as if there isn't one...
How hard is it to change and clean the filter with it being in that position?

Cleaning the filter on the NISMO was the only thing I didn't like about it. I kind of knew you had to unbolt and move the plastic fender lining to access the filter, but I always like to hear peeps opinions on that. Seems like it doesn't bother you.

20. How do I know when to clean the filter?
The general rule of thumb is that the filter needs to be cleaned when the dirt build up gets as thick as the wire mesh. The usual interval is 30,000 - 50,000 miles depending on driving conditions. We recommend that you check your filter about once a year in normal usage.
Now if you can't take the time to take off the fender liner every 30,000 - 50,000 miles, then you are just plain lazy.

Don't listen to this guy....He is just cheap. I have the AEM CAI and after seeing the Nismo CAI it was pretty obvious really that the Nismo's quality is much better than the AEM. You get what you pay for in my opinion.

Either way, your NISMO is better than stock and it looks beautiful

The Nismo CAI is a great looking intake and also the Injen Intake is a great intake because you can make it into a short ram and a Cold Air. That is why i chose the Injen intake for my G.
