I should be hosting a GB for several of Kinetix's products including the IM here shortly. Probably after NA numbers and pix of the completed product and engine cover are released.

FedEx delivered Polished Instake late this afternoon. Did not get a chance to open the box until 5:30 PM. NO problem with the fit. Do to timeframe, Isdunique initially thought I would receive a polished manifold without some of the misc. brackets. However, it came complete.

For me, with engine stripped of the "prototype", installing the intake took about 30. I say intake, as I have yet to finish connecting the Vortech SC piping to the throttle body. There are priorities and an evening with her was a priority!

Will complete the project early Sunday morning to include reinstalling OEM strut. Will attempt to post pics prior to departing for NM 350Z/G35 meet. I know you will like what you see....

I'm back, but we have a 350Z/G35 meet here in Albuquerque in about an hour. I am sure some at the meet will post their impressions.

There is NO vibration. The finished product actually sounds better on the car than the "prototype" I was testing. I will measure the distance from the bottom of the strut to the intake upon my return. I can say this, for those of you who have the V4, it doesn't even come close to the intake.

on our test car, there was about 1/4" clearance, we tried to make as much clearance as possible.

for reference, then V4 plenum has between 1/16" and 1/8"

The logo is sand blasted into the manifold

You asked and here it is:

Here is one with the strut. On the drivers side, the distance between the bottom of the strut and the intake is approximately 1/2". On the passenger side it is 3/16".

Hot damn that thing is beautiful. I'd almost want to leave the strut off, to leave the view unobstructed.
