Default AAM Spec Product Release: Cat and Y Pipe !Dynos!

Product Release!

AAM is proud to announce the release of several exciting exhaust products for the Nissan 350Z and Infinity G35.

AAM Spec Y-Pipe: $499

AAM is proud to announce the release of its Y-Pipe for the Nissan 350Z and Infinity G35. Constructed of 16-gauge T-304 Stainless Steel to ensure the highest reliability, quality, and performance. Using smooth 2.5" mandrel bent tubing and stainless steel flex joints which flow into one large 3" tube, the AAM Spec Y-Pipe improves upon the factory Y-Pipe's restrictive design by allowing a substantial increase in the mass of exhaust flow, and reduces the backpressure and thremal stress, which helps to unleash the engine's potential for increased power and torque.

Dyno tested on a near stock 2004 Nissan 350Z, the AAM Spec Y-Pipe gained 8 RWHP in comparison to the factory Y-Pipe!

Don't be fooled by competitiors designs which commonly use 18 or 20-gauge tubing that is prone to cracking, and non-stainless steel (if any) flex sections. The AAM Spec Y-Pipe is a direct bolt-on upgrade that requires no modificiation of any factory components.

AAM Spec Cat Pipe (off-road use only!): $249

The highly anticipated AAM Spec Cat Pipes for the Nissan 350Z and Infinity G35 are finally here! After servicing and installing several of our competitors designs we decided to make a higher-quality cat pipe that meets the demanding reliabilty expectations of our customers. In addition to having poor fittment, many of the cat-pipes on the market are constructed of thinner, lower grade stainless tubing. Not only are these units highly succeptable to fatigue and cracking on near stock 350Z's and G35's, some customers with supercharged and turbocharged 350Z's have torn apart the weld joints of these inferior cat-pipes. Made out of 2.5" mandrel bent 16-gauge 304 stainless steel to ensure the hightest reliability and quality, the AAM Spec Cat Pipe replaces your vehicles restrictive factory catalitic converters to allow the higest possible exhaust flow.

Dyno testing has shown 8 to 10 RWHP gains on a near stock Nissan 350Z and 20+hp gains on a turbocharged Nissan 350Z!

The AAM Spec Cat-Pipes are for off-road use only and are a direct bolt-on replacement of the factory cats.

Why on the reflashed dyno do you guys run rich and lean it out up top? Wouldnt you see better gains with a 13.1 a/f across the board? Also does your reflash incluse a raised rev limit? Do you guys touch timing? You guys didnt rev past stock in those dynos. Nice y-pipe BTW....

They're non-resonated. I had these put on my car, and wow.. They do sound nice! You can definately feel the difference in power increase.

What's up with your first dyno plots not crossing at 5252rpm?

Also, I'm surprised to see an 11ft-lb torque gain from just a y-pipe, especially when you're losing back pressure. That's pretty impressive if it's legit, and would justify the pricing for me. =)

That's strange. I did not see that. Most likely its the scale is wrong on the chart and I need to change. I'll take a look and see what's up with the dyno computer.
