HELP! Spark plug non fouler. Part 42002 for 3.99 from autozone.
They are a 2 pack. Get two packs and drill 2 of the nonfoulers out with a 1/2" drill bit. screw the NON driilled nonfouler into the test pipe. Then screw the DRILLED nonfouler into the non drilled fouler - install your o2 sensor into that. You will be SES light free and it will cost you less than $10 and about 1/2 hour of time.
no argument. I did this months ago after I got the test pipes. I've been doing this trick on all my cars for years lol. I have a few testimonial on these forums regarding the usefulness of this very trick.

The fact still remains tho...I still hate test pipes for their rasp. When a 3.5 liter v6 nissan starts sounding like a civic running out of their header...something is definitely not right.

For tuning fuel trims, it won't affect the ECM's reading of o2 voltages because the o2 sensors in the cats are secondary. Their purpose in life is to report healthy, properly functioning catalytic convertors. It is the job of the primary o2 sensors to provide feedback to the ECM for closed loop fuel tuning purposes.
