I know they said they would start shipping on the 13th, does anyone know if they did?

 

I spoke with Robert on Friday. From what he said, I gathered they had the intake manifolds back and were doing the final finishing over the weekend so they would ship today.

I made it very clear I was only interested in paying for express shipping if I could have the intake here in time to put on my car for ZDayZ and he told me if I paid the extra for express shipping I'd have it before I leave for Fontana Village (first thing Thursday morning).

So... I'm inclined to believe they will ship today, though I have no specific verification to back this up other than my conversation with Robert.

 

Let's hope so, I can't wait.

I will not be doing before and after. I am having mine installed in conjunction with my Vortech. I will be doing ONLY after.

 

Sorry... only plan to retune once all my new mods go on. I know a lot of people are sitting on the fence on whether to buy the Kinetix IM. I'm sure someone out there will eventually do more independent befores and afters. For me, I don't care if it makes more power or not, as long as it doesn't lose any. I bought it so I can put my stock strut bar back on, because it shows the fuel rails (which I will soon be upgrading), and because it just looks *****in'! I can easily demonstrate before and after for these traits with photos which cost me nothing.

mcduck things when someone starts paying for his time and dyno expenses, he'll start doing more before and after comparisons for the crowd

 

do you have at least older dyno sheets to compare to? so we can some what see what gains you got.....I know its not accurate since they're done at different times but better than nothing

 

I really thought more people would have wanted to see dyno results BEFORE they purchased. I hope everybody is pleased and that they share their results with the forums.

I personally bought this IM solely based on the appearance of it. I think it is an awesome looking piece. Its perfect for a show car IMHO. The fact that there are gains is an added bonus.

TEH215- As far as I know Kinetix will be sending out tracking info as soon as they ship out.

Guess what I just got, a tracking #! It will be here on the 18th!

 

Can't wait till we see the #'s, the look is aggressive/performace and bling bling. If the #'s are there in power/torque I'll be dreaming about mine till it comes in. What a shame us research people have to be last in line....LOL

Yes and no... I do have before dynos. But my goal with the next round of tuning is not to surpass my best dyno number of 425rwhp. I have not done bottom end and am not interested in pushing my luck. Also, keep in mind when I re-tune, I will have 3 or 4 upgrades on the car for retuning, not just the Kinetix IM. Ultimately, my goal is to fatten the area under my curve. Hope we can tune the car to hit 410rwhp, but do it sooner and just hold that power level to redline. I'll be happy to post the before and after side-by-side, but considering how I'll be doing this I'm not sure what, if anything, that will show you except how sweet the final product is!

BTW, got tracking information yesterday and my IM will arrive today!

 

Mine has arrived! Just got an email notification that FedEx delivered about an hour ago. I really cannot wait to leave work now!
