Injen SES exhaust installation help
Hey,
I am in the processing of buying a used Injen SES Straight tip.
Perhaps you can help me. Do I have to get any gasket for the installation or any mounting hardware? If so, what do i need?
The guys selling it to me say it uses everything from the stock part.
Also, what should i inspect with the used exhaust? The guy has removed the exhaust already.
How much was the installation?
Thanks in advance.
Tony

i cant remember but i think the kit includes new gaskets but yu can use your original ones tooo. just make sure theirs no rust or cracks and your good. install is easy, diy. or a shop will charge around 150 to do it which is bad considering you can do it in 2 hours by yourself.
Mario,
Does it come with 6 major pieces (exhaust)? Also, any hangers that came from INJEN? Just want to make sure i get all the parts?
Do you live the car up with four jacks or just the rear?
Thanks,
Tony

cant remember how many paices but 4 sounds right? um...i cant remember if it came with hangers. i think you use the stocks. to check call injen and ask tomorrow. i did my install half *** cause my jack and stands suck, so i jacked up one side at a time as opposed to front and rear. unless you have money to blow, get a friend and do it yourself. it might help to have instructions. manuevering the exhaust too sit right was a little tricky too. not hard, just tricky cause i put everything on , thought i wass done then stepped back to see that one pipe wasnt sitting like the other. si i went back moved it around a little and alls good. any more questions? im going to sleep soon, but if you do the install yourself, ill help you with any questions. by the way the hardest part is getting the oold pipes off the hangers. use a big flathead screwdriver and alot of muscle.

you can use the gaskets between the cats and the injen..thats what i did, but i cant remember if the injen came with new ones...it should come with gaskets for the rest of the connections, just not sure if it does between the cats and injen...good luck wth the install
i think it comes with 2 gaskets few bolts and the spacer. you can use wd40 to take the old muffler hanger. it will make it a lot easier for you. i just use ramps to lift the rear end of the car.
Hey,
I need a quick answer. I haven't jack up my car yet. Tht pipe that goes to the cat, I notice it has a angle brace (welded on to support it) on each end, does it sit facing up or down. It seems like it can work with either face up.
Thanks,
Tony
