Default Rare? Tanabe Ultra Medalion (Single) Titanium Exhaust 350Z

I did a search on the Z forums a couple of months ago, and didn't actually find anyone who posted up that they owned this exhaust...

So do I dare say I am part of a rare group, or maybe even the first in the United States

Incredible sound, I used to have custom job with no resonator on my last car and that was deep and loud (which I later changed to a HKS Hi-Power cat-back)... But the downside was the resonating droaning sound, esp. on with highway driving.

But this thing (maybe because of being pretty straight, and has a small resonator) is deep and loud but doesn't resonate/droan. So a very enjoyable sound, barely touch the throttle and you can hear the deepness but it isn't loud at all. Give it just a little more and it wakes up, I can't wait to see what it will be like after I install this...

The stock is pretty heavy, esp. compared to the really light weight of this single exhaust. Also after taking the OEM one out, there is so much more space.

Also just because, this are pics of my last ride (2002 Honda Civic SI-EP3) and the HKS exhaust...

Exhaust itself looks really nice, but i'm still trying to get used to seeing a few Z's with only a single exhaust tip. Still looks a bit weird to me.

Maybe would look better to me if there were a block-off plate of some sort for the empty exhaust opening. I saw all of your new pics you posted tho nitrouz... looks awesome!

Sadly I do not have a digi camcorder, or the know how in how to post vids... Though I do think posting sound clips online does no justice to how cars sound in person.

Yeah me too, but I figured it would be a good match for the turbo kit and would be a much easy install along with keeping it cleaner

Well I just kinda installed it without measuring, I will try to find out if it has already been posted or is somewhere in the instructions.

haha thanx bro. Yea I agree it would be better with something to fill in the emptz exhaust opening on the right side...but its ok mine is black...doesn't show as much. I'm more concerned about the empty space under the rear bumper where the factory muffler was located...it should be creating some unnecessary drag...

Looks ok, imo it would look a lot better if the size of the muffler was larger....how much if you dont mind me asking ?

Sweet, and good start... Tint is also great mod

Also Alberto IMO the size is perfect, any bigger and it would look like a ricer fart cannon LOL. Oh and it was $719, though not sure if I can say from where since they are not a vendor here.
