Default Kinetix plenum causing car to stall....weird!!

I do not know if I have to lower or higher the RPM idle but the car is so easily to stall now after I got my kinetix V4 plenum installed. It needs a lot more gas to come out for it not to stall. This is not my 1st. manual so I know how manual cars feel like. Would raising or lowering the RPM setting at idle help? PLZ PLZ Let me know.

I remember on my previous Z when I had my tranny replaced same thing happend and after resetting the Rpm idle helped.

What you think?

I don't know of any simple way to adjust the idle. I believe that even the Nismo CAI lowers the warm idle speed and yes it is easier to stall with a low idle speed. _One_ solution is just to blip the gas before you start to release the clutch and then just take off as normal. The flywheel inertia is enough to smooth out the start. If you just must launch the second the light goes green you can hold the brake with the left side of your right foot (mr big toe) and nudge the idle with the right side of your right foot (mr little toe). This is a version of heel and toe put to practical use and can also be used on a steep hill if you don't want to use the parking brake.

350ZR: Nismo CAI, CatBacks, Sways.

I just went out and took the engine cover off and checked all the screws around with a small wrench. They were all not tight. They were not falling off loosely but they did turn to the tighten side really really easy which meant they needed some more tightening. I dont know if that was it or not but it seemed to help. No obvious leaks on the seals or anything. I went around a few blocks after tightening the screws and its starting to feel like normal again. Im amazed that some screws can cause this. WOW! Thanks guys!

When I installed my kinetix, everything seemed to be on right, tight and no leaks. But the car was stalling and sputtering. We then hooked the car up on one of those OBD ll sensor and it told us there is a vaccum leak. Sure enough, there was. So we resealed the plenum and sure enough, the car never had that problem since. This was last summer.

Stalling issue is fine now. Solved so far. However I had to loose my strut bar since even with washers on the strut bolts it still was not clearing it and it made nasty vibration noises at any RPM above 1000. I dont want to loose my performance so I wanted to ask if you guys think the crawford strut bar would clearf ther Kinetx V4 and also if it clears the hood. I have seen a lot of people with the crawfords around the forums but I did hear of one guys who his was not clearing the hood and the strut bar was scratched. ANy suggestions plz le tme know. I really need a strut bar. I dont think it will affect daily driving but it will when tracking or racing even in the streets.
