indepth *?* about exhaust systems
Say the car has a single pipe coming from cats that enters a single canister, will it have low to mid range torque, but loses high end torque right? Then if the same car has true duals coming for the cats that enter 2 canisters, will it have mid to top range torque, but loses low end torque right? Now what if the same car had true duals coming from the cats but it enters into a single canister, what is the end results? What exhaust system on the market would give you the best range of torque without scarificing 1 or the other or would you have to scarifice 1? TIA
I'm not sure but, this is a good read about exhaust and what is needed for power.

Does anybody have any ideas, hypothesis or theories to any degree on this subject manner? All feedbacks are welcome...TIA

What I think you want is a dual with an X-pipe or H-pipe. You get the free flowing exhaust, but also get equalized exhaust pulses from each bank. The Greddy EVO2 incorporates an X-pipe into it's design. The borla incorporates an H-pipe into it's design. I know there is at least one member that fabricated and H-pipe into his Injen SES exhaust and was pleased with the difference it made.
I'm another that fabricated an "H" into my Invidia G200 dual system. A beautifully made exhaust with great tone. Before the "H" the idle was somewhat lopey, after I added the "H" the idle smoothed out, and the tone became deeper and more mellow. The equalization smoothed things out.

BTW, a huge side-effect of adding any crossflow element into a true-dual is SOUND. That was the motivation behind my mod in the first place. Cross-flow helps smooth out the exhaust tone, and in the case of the VQ in the Z, brings back the unique "z-sound" that our engines make.
If you're attempting this mod, shoot me a PM... I'd be happy to offer (what little) advice I can
