If it glows like that then I think it would be a great replacement for our HID's... it would make things around us a lot more visible. That alone is worth the 200 bucks IMO

*digging up this topic again

Besides from the jokes related to the graphics

I think the idea sounds smart in theory, dont know if it works in real life though. The dyno chart they have with the 10hp gain looks authentic but then again ofcourse thats impossible to tell for sure.

I am seriously concidering this intake as i want a short ram intake that gives more breathing at high RPM's and sounds nice and looks good without risking water digestion, the aFe filter is nice but costs more then twise and i doubt it would give more power. (Honestly i think any cone filter would give basically the same gain with the same diameter piping i guess if you think realistically)

Am i insane to even concider this? Are there any better choises such as the K&N Typhoon which claims the same gain? K&N Typhoon

What do you guys think?

*EDIT: Its hard to tell how these are fitted, do they bolt on AFTER the stock MAF tunnel or directly after the plenum? I want to replace the stock MAF tunnel as it seams restrictive beeing the smallest diameter pipe on the intake side + the sensor sticking down in it as well.

/Roger

A poly foam filter? Give me a break! No, this is snake oil. You do not want this piece of junk.

Haha ok ok! Too bad, it looked nice

Does anyone know if the K&N Typhoon has a built in MAF socket or if it just attaches to the stock MAF tunnel?
