Default Nismo exhaust tips

Are the exhaust tips on the nismo cat back smaller than stock?

slightly bigger, slightly more oval (not perfectly round), "nismo" etching on side, and there is a slight angle on them. Those are the differences. They are all almost impercievable unless you really sit down and look.

They are angled up, right? Thats one thing about this exhaust that i think would look so beautiful.
How "not perfectly round" are they? Could you really tell?

You forgot: "way cooler-looking".

The stock tips are 87mm round; the NISMO are 96 x 107 mm and oval due to the angled cut. The actual tip extending from the pipe is really round.

Here's a pic from the rear. They are slightly oval & angled up.

Here is a low photo of my car. It is very hard to tell they are oval -- all of the differences from the stock tips aside from the etched logo are basically impercievable.

How do you guys like the exhaust? Sound difference? I read that at idle and low rpms, there is no differenct than stock, true?

At idle and low RPMs you can't tell much at all that it's an aftermarket exhaust.

WOT is another story, music to your ears.

It's louder when the engine is under load but about the same as stock the rest of the time.

I was at the dealership this morning and had a salesman and a couple techs admiring my NISMO. Polished stainless looks sooooo goooood with Daytona Blue.

It's a slight bit louder, more of a deeper grumble. It does have that burst at startup that makes it more noticible than stock.
