Default Replacing/removing the stock muffler

I was just playing around and I decided to take the muffler off of my Z. I was amazed at the sound... right now, I just have the open pipe under the car (it exits at a slight upturn right behind the rear end) and I want to get a set up that takes that pipe into the two normal exit locations. Does anyone sell a set up to 'delete' the muffler on teh Z?? If nobody does, someone should... it's a lot cheaper than getting a different exhaust...

I'm tempted to take my muffler off to play around also just to hear how loud it really is without a muffler.

How much louder is it?

It is definitely much louder, but not too bad (I don't think that I would ever be pulled over for it). I definitely like the sound it gives and (the best part) is that is cost almost nothing... For now, I ran to the parts store and bought a piece of 'right angle' curved pipe and a flange so that I can redirect the exhaust at a downward angle (the pipe is exiting up towards the underside of the car). I am going to leave it like this until I determine if it just looks too 'hokey' from the back (if I don't like it, I will pay a muffler shop to build a customer twin pipe set up (shouldn't cost more than 100 or so).

Anyway, I think that this is a a GREAT (free) mod.
