Default Gutted cats, no CEL.

Got a hold of some gutted cats for my 05, used the Help non-foulers and so far no CEL. Sound is a bit different, good but not as good as the stock exhaust.

I gutted my cats myself a little over a month ago and I haven't had any CELs either. Personally, I love the sound.... to me it sounds just like stock but just louder.

Congrats.

I did both. I never noticed any rasp. The sound to me was exactly like stock but louder... the pitch never changed. I thought it was a great mod for the money. Also no CELs ever with the stock o2 sensors still on.

Because you have an 03. 04.5+ cars will most likely get a CEL light if the cats are replaced/gutted.
