That would suck pretty bad... i hope not, but i guess there is only one way to find out from this point isnt there.

Can you run this intake in short ram mode? If you do dyno low with the Crawford, put it in short ram if you can, and see what happens. I had an AEM/Crawford combo and I didnt see any power with the plenum. A week later on the same dyno with the Pop-charger I gained 10whp I know AEM and Injen are slightly different but you could have the same results, just giving you a heads up. I also know another guy with an AEM who went to a pop-charger and saw more power....btw we make the same peak hp, although I have a little more TQ (252), any track times with your car?

Does this intake have or pending a CARB#? I'm guessing it's not. Yeah, let us know how it goes once you install the Cast Plenum.

I have the older Injen intake and have had the Crawford Plenum since V1 and the combination is perfect. There is a big difference between the AEM and the Injen and its all about filter placement. Also, the Injen filter is not properly designed for a short ram setup on the 350Z and you will have major top end performance loss if you set it up as a short ram. Tested on the 1/4 mile track. The popcharger will yield better 60ft times as it has better low end power but as the rpms start to climb the Injen intake will out perform the popcharger.

2nd pic is HP - pay no attention to tq - it's not scaled right

ive got the new sp1986 from intensepower.com. IMO it was worth the money- $249 and the shipping was free. i got it about 3-4 days after the order was placed.

question: is there any way to observe power gains from a plenum after CAI without having to convert to SRI?
