Default KinetixV4 vs Crawford V5

Ok, for those of us who havent followed the plenum war recently, which is better? Does the V4 really dissapate heat better than the Crawford? Which has shown higher rwhp gains?

Opinions?

Gains are very similar.

I went with the V4 simply because I wanted to keep the stock strut tower bar.

+1

Even though the V4 plenums are less prone to problems, I would still go with Crawford just to avoid any potential problems. Keep in mind that Kinetix will stand behind their products 110% if you have any problems. I have in the past, and will continue to buy their products in the future. I am just not too certain about their V4 plenum.

or you could get a crawford and never ever worry.

also note that the crawford has more volume, which means more power.

I've never heard of any heating problems, so I do not think it matters.

in theory yes, since the plenum is plastic and the SSV is stainless, both dissipate heat faster than crawfords alluminum one. But it would be difficult to prove that the heat really matters.

Looks the majority goes with the Crawford. Who am I to argue? I totally agree. I have the Crawford V4, and love it.
