Default Just purchased a 350... noob ??s

I want to purchase a cold air induction....Does anyone have any info on the K&N Typhoon Intake? It seems to be the only "ram air" kit. All of the other intakes seem to suck hot air out of the engine compartment. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Before someone lashes out with the word "SEARCH!"

I am just going to say that if you search for intake, popcharger, K&N, or anything related to cold air intake, you will find the answer to your question.

I will say that in some of the posts I have read, the "COLD air" intakes make no significant power gains over the others.

G/L with the search

The K&N Typhoon is definitely not a "ram air" kit. To have a ram air kit you would have to have a hood scoop or an opening in the bumper that the air would be forced down and through a filter and into the engine. The only choices are warm air intakes (WAI) which places the filter in the engine compartment (K&N and JWT) and cold air intakes (CAI) which place the filter in the front bumper (Injen, AEM, and Nismo). Oh yeah, use the search next time.

my buddy has the K&N, the carbon fiber box that goes in the engine compartment cuts(the screws) into his hood.
