Default Invidia G200

Just purchased the true titanium tipped Invidia G200 exhaust... All I have been hearing is how quite this exhaust is and bla bla bla!!! I am hoping that the sound isn't that quite. Also performance wise does anyone know how the g200 stacks up against all of the rest? All I have on the car is cold air intake and the plenium spacer.... Any replies will help!!!

1st of all, "quiet" not "quite."

2nd, if your exhaust is too quiet, get non-resonated test pipes.

good advice with the spelling.... I heard about the test pipes but I was wondering about the exhaust itself.... Does anyone have this exhaust out there??? and if so how is the sound???

This exhaust is quiet at idle and at low RPMs. It's deeper than stock and has a nice gurgle. Run it at WOT though, and it screams like a banshee, it's very exotic sounding. I really didn't realize how good it sounded at speed, until I had my car on the Dyno on friday nite. I stood behind it while it was being run up threw the gears, and the climb to 7K RPMs in fourth. My, My - It sounded great. I did, however, have an "H" pipe welded into mine. It improved the sound and the overall performance of the system. I'm running the system with Crawford Headers and HiFlow Cats.

Question.... What is the point of having that "H" pipe welded onto your exhaust pipes? The diameter of your pipes are unchanged so its not unrestricting anything.... I just don't see the point unless its purely acoustic. Acoustic by means of it actually being sort of a hollowed out resonating chamber changing the tone of your exhaust. So if i'm right let me know.. or also if i'm wrong.

You're wrong. See article below. While an "X" is better, I chose to go with an "H".
