Default Top Speed Review

Got my Top Speed Headers all on the car! IMPRESSIONS

1st... I heard the exhaust got much deeper! Its the HKS Ti. Dual w/ Kinetix Test Pipes... around 4k rpm it did get the raspy noise but I loved the noise it was making... everyone I knew loved it also!!! but not the noise is MUCH MUCH deeper!!! even just slapping the rev around 2k - 3k is much deeper! ... Around the Redline of close to 7k its even louder then before! I didn't know it could do that but I LOVE IT NOW!!! SOUNDS GREAT!!!

2nd... I had to wait for the ECU to somewhat config... its about 70 miles on the headers now and the ECU kicked back in cuz my check engine light from the test pipes turned back on

3rd... The power is noticeable! I'm not sure if the ECU is exactly in yet... I felt like I possibly loss some low end torque... maybe my imagination too though... but the increase is power is noticeable!!! It feels great throughout the ban of rpm's! I love the feeling!

I'm very happy with my Top Speeds! I never got pre-install dynos... but I do know races I can test out against to see how the increase helped!

Sounds great! Overall it seams like most pepole who install propper headers seam to alteast FEEL more power Would be intresting to see some independant before/after dyno's on some headers...

Ill most likely have a similar setup in the next few months with the HKS exhaust + injen SP1986 CAI comming on first hopefully already end of next week!! Headers and either test pipes or HF cats after that!

- How is the sound biased now if you compare the sound from the intake and exhaust? (ex more exhaust then itake over xxxx revs etc?)

/Roger

Had my header installed by my boss friends, claim that he has be a mechical for 15 years+... by other then that the service charge was only 150$, not sure if hes willing to charge that low anymore... considering that he spented over 5 hrs... other then that the service was great. everything was bolt on well.

EBAY... I picked up my TS headers for $225 shipped. Got lucky I guess? There's a BIG ebay seller that offers them for $250-275...

You could also by them here from some of the sposors, good stuff fair price imo.
