If it works or not they are selling a lot. Every day I see a whole lot of these things floating around the hub.

It might not work but thier marketing sure does.

It may "work", but their claims seem exaggerated WRT the Z.

That's the most ridiculous pile of crap I've read on this forum.

If you want to be a vendor on this forum, be honest about your product. Most guys on here won't buy this BS about gaining 20hp.

If you happen to see a turbo charger or supercharger floating around while your at work if you could reroute to me that would be great!

The scanned dyno for those that asked!!!

And yes that is the address to our location. Feel freel to visit anytime! And we are not trying to be a vendor, aFe is doing just fine! Forums are meant for discussion, so why cry when someone post a review that is made for discussion.

Someone buy one and test it to see if the claims are straight up. I'm still not buying it.

Edited again: Previous text removed, Ok, i see now.

Where's the other 400-500rpms after 6000?
Also why doesn't the torque and HP cross at 5250 like everyone elses's dyno?
Seemed fishy to begin with and now with this Tyco Dyno Graph they show.
Geez? Where did that come from Engine Dyno 1.0 or MS excel.

It does not say "results may vary" So, i assume (and we all know what that gets you) that the results will be the same for every 350z?

The date and time has been altered also. I think the chart has legitimacy issues.

AFETech, do the tests again with a video.
Or pick a test dummy from this site. If the results are true, then the return from buyers here will outweigh the costs of the follow up testing.

Bingo! The dyno of the one claimed to be using the air filter properly crosses torque and hp at 5250 rpm. What the hell is up with the baseline crossing at what, 4700 rpm? And, is this for a 350Z? You're absolutely right, the RPMs end no where near redline. That is not an accurate baseline run. Where was this dynoed?

I will get in contact with the CEO and I will set up a date where any members of this site can come down and dyno the kit on our in house dyno. Like a Dyno Day. Im sure he will have no problem with this. We will compare the current kits you have on and compare them to ours.

Also I will see if we have a video and If we dont, I will get a 350, set it up with a kit and make 1!

Also The cost of this kit your looking at is our suggested price. Our Dealers sell it for a lower price though. You wont pay that much. The point of this post was not to try and sell kits but to spark a discussion and maybe have some people find out that there is more than 1 Great Intake/Filters Company.

We also will be contacting my350z.com for sponsorship information, We do not want to overstep our liimitation and disrespect the relationships they have with their current sponsors!

I will let you know on the Dyno Day..

Thanks

Sounds like a great idea, Dont feel discouraged as 99% of the air intakes for the Z have only produced upwards of 5HP so one claiming 20HP dosent seem right. BUt a lot of us would love to come down one day and bring our cars to test, hell if its truly that good we might even buy it right off the wharehouse floor if the price is right.

HAHA yea right, what makes you think I will send it to you first!
hehe in the hub I work at I see almost every Injen, K&N, AFE, Yoshimura, and occasionally AEM and DC sports. SO YALL BETTER BE NICE TO ME OTHERWISE I WILL make sure that all your packages take forever to get there! HAHAHA Especially those who live in upstate newyork and those in MA, CT, RI, ME, NH, VT and, around gardena / cerritos in california !! HAHAH
Naa just playing. ll get in trouble big time even if I was to say expedite your pkg by upgrading to to next day air or 2nd day air.

Anybody else notice something wacky about the dates on the scanned dyno run? If this was done two years ago, why haven't we heard about it before now???
