Well the verdict is in; the Crawford plenum has a very noticeable power gain. My wife actually drives the car to work each day which is only an 8 mile round trip. I never said anything to her because I wanted to see if she would notice the difference in performance. So on Wednesday morning when getting ready for work she says, damn the G is running like a scalded dog, I accelerated about 1/2 throttle to get around someone yesterday and the engine just roared to life. On Saturday we ran some errands and I could really feel the difference especially in the mid range performance and the exhaust sound.
I just installed mine last night (05 35th 350z) my only other mod are Kinetix test pipes. Exhaust seems a bit louder more torque in the mid, feels a bit more alive. You could really hear it sucking air in. I am a little afraid to pass any elementry schools, those little kids might get sucked in. LOL Anyone have any leak issues, or ways to check for leaks. I had one issue The vacume hose on the right side, that connects to the plenum was to big? Is that just an 05 track/35th thing? I just bought a diffrent hose. My car put out 270 RWH with the Kinetix test pipes (13% corrected dyno) I would like to see what its putting out.
