Kintetix V4 Plenum..sounds like plastic??
I'm sure that I am being stupid here, but I installed my V4 and I have noticed two big things:
1 - Things seem to be vibrating
2 - The car seems to drive differently. When doing about 4K rpm in 3rd and you let off the gas, I remember the car having a very noticable ON and OFF feeling (like you threw an anchor out when letting off the gas). Now (with the new manifold) the car seems to not have this. It does seem to come down off of a free 'rev' about the same (reving the engine in neutral) which is slow, but this just seems odd.
It looks like #1 is answered below with the strut bar, but can someone tell me how to adjust it upwards so that it doesn't vibrate??

Loosen the jam nuts on either end of the adjustment nut. Then turn the adjustment nut counter clockwise, and watch the bar, it will adjust to the height nec, then lock the jam nuts. Make sure that you have enough hood clearance, and you should be fine. good luck!
damn i got this problem too after installed the new Kinetix V+ plenum. For future reference in case anyone is installing this the first time, you will feel a very noticeable vibration at idle and at exactly 1500 RPM. I thought there was a leak until i removed the OEM strut bar and the vibration went away. Everything is smooth now.
How do i adjust the OEM strut bar again? which is the jam nut and the adjustment nut? I noticed there is a black dot on one of the nut. Is that always facing upward?
