Default Kinetix HFC owners

Has anyone who owns these had trouble with the CEL/SES?
My light came on last week and i took it to nissan today. They told me that they have not seen this error code on a 350 yet, 1238, Air Fuel , some altimas but, no 350 vehicles. Told me is was a faulty o2 sensor on the Altimas. Then they said they have to call Nissan Tech and find out what to do.
They don't know about the HFCs yet. I'm thinking it may be them causing the trouble.
Anyone having this trouble? Any suggestions?
Think i should take them off and check them out for core damage?

You darn right they are causing the "CEL" to come on! I have the KINETIX test pipes and when they were installed I thru on the "spark plug non foulers" and the CEL has never came on. Since then I have put on the Crawford plenum, and INJEN1986 CAI, and no problems. Go spend $5 at auto zone, install them (takes about 5min) and I promise the light will not come on. Really I promise!!

Is that the front and rear sensors or just the front that needs the fouler ring?

are you talking about High Flow Cats or Test Pipes?
The subject is about HFC, not TP, two different things.

I had my Kinetix HFC for 5000miles and 1 track events with no CEL light ever

Well, i went and bought them anyway.
My first SES came on after 50 miles, the second today , after the dealership came on after 35 miles.
I put the fouler rings on and have been 60 miles without the light comming on.
I think that there may be a problem with the cats.

Right after my SC install, I stll had test pipes. Not Kinetix TP, but TP nonetheless. About a month after the install, I got a CEL and took it to Auto Zone and had them pull the code. I dont recall the number, but it was a code for being too rich! Maybe this helps, but probably not.
