Question Has anyone compared the Crawford Cast vs. APS Tall Boy Plenum yet (Dyno)???

Just curious if anyone has done a side-by-side dyno comparison of these two plenums yet? They look similar but I'm interested to know if one actually performs better than the other.

wassup james...

i have to speculate that there will prolly be not much difference between the two. you get to a point where you can modify our plenums only so much.

it comes down to brand loyalty, cost, appearance, customer service, etc.

Hey Vinh,

Yeah, I'd have to agree. I'm just curious to know though.

BTW...nice finally meeting you yesterday. Your ride is simply bad a**!

I havent seen any direct comparisons yet; but I can tell you that the Crawford makes an immediate difference. Both vendors are gonna get my business anyway lol. I've got the old school v1 Crawford and I love it. Eventually when I can acquire the APS TT system I'm gonna go ahead and get the tall-boy.

Either way, since both definately imporove the volume, they will make a very noticeable difference. I instantly felt the Crawford on the top end; simply pulled all the way.

+1. I don't think I've ever seen dyno results posted on the APS Tallboy. The tallboy looks really big, so I am trying to find out if you actually lose hp or not.

Should be a tossup....
APS has a volume advantage...
Crawford has a bigger neck...
Spacers are cheaper and offer 99% of the same benefits...

If theres any difference its within the margin of dyno error anyway, so pick whichever ya like...

PS I rock the Crawford strictly because of the black finish...

The APS looks absolutely awesome, and it makes a noticeable difference with the MREV-2. Spacers are cheaper, but a little ghetto.
