Default Do I need to get new gaskets when I install headers?

I'm sure some of you have seen my other thread about headers https://my350z.com/forum/intake-exhaust/136084-will-a-set-of-headers-actually-make-a-noticeable-difference.html
I was going to post this question there but I wasn't sure if anyone would read 3 pages to get to this question.
The Strup headers I ordered should be in next week. As far as I know they don't come with gaskets. Can I reuse the stock gaskets or should I get new ones? I currently have 5000 miles on my ZR. I assume there are 2 gaskets for both sides. One between the block and the header and one between the header and the cat.

You're exactly right. Go ahead and reuse the stocks. They hold up very well.

Today we're swapping my aftermarket headers back out for my OEM manifolds, since this is the 2nd swap, I bought new gaskets (which cost me about $70 ). As it turns out we pulled the original gaskets out and they basically looked brand new.

if you want to chance having to redo the job because of an exhaust leak...go ahead. I had to do that once on a customer car..the gaskets looked fine, yes...but they leaked and as a result, had to redo the job....from then on out we made customers buy new gaskets everytime...cheap insurance for a not so cheap job

I just ordered the gaskets. I was going to reuse the original ones but after reading all your posts I decided the $44.00 was cheap insurance.

I could have used mine when I did my headers at 44,000... I ended up putting in new ones just becuase I have easy access to them...
