I inquired about this same topic a few weeks back as I am new to the Z community and was wondering why I heard a high pitched squeal under partial throttle. It is perfectly normal.

Ok rad...i was just making sure that it was a normal thing, and that i didn't jack something up haha...Dude this makes my engine sound ridiculously beefy now. This is my first mod and i certainly was reserving judgement on it 'til i installed it and needless to say i couldn't be any happier w/ it...But yeah. thx for putting my mind at ease...

I went with the JWT pop charger and the Stillen exhaust system.. Sounds amazing both low and high in the power band. No drone at all, but loud enough to turn heads 24/7.

The high pitched squeel you hear is the air getting sucked into the intake.

Test pipes are just straight exhaust pipes with no cat's in them to restrict flow. Illegal in most states, some can get away with it though.

I just installed my popcharger on Thursday...it does sound much better. I'm new to Z's but come from the DSM world with an AWD Turbo Eclipse.
