Default NISMO Exhaust Pics/Review

Been meaning to post some pics of my NISMO exhaust that I got installed a couple months ago. I couldn't be more pleased with it. The fit and finish is top notch, it looks great, and sounds awesome. Can't really feel any power increase from my "butt dyno", but I plan to get the car dyno'd again with the exhaust at some time in the near future. I will say that it seems to pull harder above 3,500 rpms since it's install. As far as the droning at highway speed some folks have mentioned, it does drone a little bit at around 75mph or so, but it's not too bad and if you have the radio on, you'll probably barely notice it. The sound at WOT is incredible! It preserves the "Z sound" but makes it more aggressive and sporty.

Yeah i have to agree, i too have the nismo and couldnt be more pleased. It preserves the "Z sound" but makes it more aggressive and sporty. Even the guys at the repair shop doing the work on the damage, said it sounds sweet.

Im getting a new new nismo exhaust.

Well, I swapped out my rear diff oem fluid from some Red Line 75W-90 yesterday and the techs at the performance shop I go to were raving about how great the fit and finish and sound of the Nismo exhaust was. Seems like the more I drive it, the more I really like it. Definitely the way to go IMO as far as aftermarket exhausts go.

I'd like to, but it might be a while. My digital camera can't do sound clips. I'll see if at our next Z club meet I can get one of the guys to get some sound clips of the exhaust and then I'll post them here.

Did you paint the NISMO on the tips white or is it just the lighting?

It must be the lighting in the pics. Haven't painted the exhaust tips.

That's the same sound clip I think everybody has heard. It's the only clip I have ever been able to find, a Dyno run followed buy guy chirping his tires shifting into 2nd.

A different sound clip would bee cool:-)
