Default Mods & Fuel Economy

After I slapped on my JWT I noticed I lost about 1 mpg for normal driving conditions. Maybe I'm revving a little more to hear the growl...

I'm wondering what others have experienced with various mods? I'm especially curious about going to FI. I'd think more HP may mean less fuel economy. I know this is a sports car and not to get overly concerned about economy... but I'm just curious.

I gave my opinion in this thread:

Do Headers effect MPG?

Different question. Same opinion.

on1 mpg is actually a whole lot of economy lost. I would say that half or more of that is you giving it more gas. That is why most people say they "feel" the mod. In reaction to you putting a mod on the car you tend to race it more giving it more gas making the car feel faster. My nismo exhaust was supposed to add 1 or 2 mpg yet my overall gas mileage went down by .3 mpg. Why is that? Bc i love the way it sounds and i floor it much more now.

I have the Nismo exhaust and short-ram intake, and was getting about 19mpg in the city and around 22-23 on the highway. Added resonated test pipes, and mileage didn't seem to change, but the car is a bit quicker. Car seems to enjoy 80-90 mph on long drives, was getting up to 24mpg (from FL to NJ) doing that speed.
