I've seen just one on a supra doing 22psi producing 1000 hp. Two is just overkill, more for looks and symmetrical reasons...

I have a single and love it. I was going to do dual but not my cup of tea.

Great job though!

Installed by South Florida Performance which did the biggest ghetto job on my car. I drove the to Cprace in NC and they cleaned up the install and tuned the car for me.

Yeah one with my TS rear bumper would look odd. Unlike the OEM small cutouts for the tail pipe the TS bumper has some agressive holes.

Somewhat an invalid comparo, the Supra doesn't have the same heating issues that G/Z does, which is part of the big two pipe reasoning. Note that a properly designed TD 2.5 can easily outflow a single 3 and overheating has been seen above ~550rwhp with these arrangements.
Do you have a built block low CR running >15psi?
If you did , then a dual 3" is the safer way to go on the Z/G.

True.....it is 90 degrees outside with 54% humidity and our feels like is 97. I have gone through a tank of gas since 6 pm last night. That should give you an idea what kind of beating I have been putting on this car. Keep in mind I only drove for a little while last night, and today I have left work a few times to take the car on a few spirited runs. So far with the new exhaust and the PE radiator the temp gauge stayed pegged to the one or two ticks below the half way mark......

Beautiful. I like the simplicity dual exhaust running straight back from the headers.

If I'm not mistaken the resonators look like Dynaflows and they and the pipeing appear to be aluminized steel , "not stainless". This for example should be taken into account when comparing to a slightly more expensive setup like the APS 3" wcich will be made of 100% high grade stainless.
Nothing wrong with the alum steel , just wanted to point the diff out.

I was going to use stainless as it was only $200 more, but other than it looks nicer and will last longer (I am not keeping this car for 30 years) there really is no benefit.....so for the 1st time with this car, I choose the least expensive route. The total for stainless steel with the mufflers would have been $1475.00.

Gman, I had my mufflers installed yesterday as well. Those HKS monsters sound so exotic. I have a big smile on my face every time I rev the car.

I will also try to get some video up on the boards shorly.

That's awesome. Is it still loud without the resonators? How did the install go with the rear bumper? I am looking forward to seeing a video of your monster in action!

To my surprise, it isnt too loud at all. It is a bit boomy at 2500rpm, but other than that, its a very deep exotic sound...I love it!

In regards to the rear bumper, it is a tight fit with the angle needed. I am going to install some heat protective material on the bumper, to protect it from the hot exhuast gases.

Do you guys have any braces/mounts by the front?
The reason I ask is, my buddy's manifolds cracked from the pressure of the exhaust hanging on the turbos. We fixed the problem with some flex pipes.

Anyways, I'm jealous now. Just another mod to waste money on.
