According to Sport Z Magazine, i believe they stated that the stock exhaust was rated at 64LBS, the Nismo was at 54LBS. This one is considerably lighter than Nismo, I believe Jason weighed it in the box (which is shipping weight now), and it came to 56LBS, or around there? This exhaust is at least 10LBS if not more, lighter than Nismo.

the nismo is definatly heavier... the Y-Pipe from the NISMO Exhaust feels 5-8 lbs heavier then the 5Zigen

looks (and sounds) great Jason, good to see more variety out there. one question- someone mentioned earlier about the dual exit bumper with only one exhaust pipe. do you plan on using [read: creating] a "filler" panel of some sorts, almost like a snap-in piece to somewhat hide the driver side exhaust cutout? i guess having a stock rear bumper may prove a little easier to do this with versus an aftermarket body kit. nonetheless it looks hot, looking forward to your review/comments on power gains.

After driving the car for a day, I can tell you that I really do enjoy this exhaust. From in the cabin, the car is quiet on the freeway, only when you open it up does it get louder, and the exhaust note is clean, just like a Z should sound. Driving around town, I can also say that this exhaust keeps that unique Z exhaust note sort of like a Nismo. You can tell that the car is a 350Z just by the sound This is what i was looking for. It's quiet when you want it, it doesn't drone at all, it's perfect and won't get you in trouble with the law.

All in all, I'm a very happy camper

Sounds great Would look better though with the dual tip, especially on cars with 2 slots for the tips.

Looks like excellent build quality as well!

I wish they had a bumper that matched single tip exhausts. Nice exhaust though, I bet it sounds nice as hell!

I believe the Greddy rear valence gives you that option (or did).

Jason and Tony, looks and sounds great. Thanks for the quality report, too. Mmmm...what to do...

Yes, the Greddy rear lip offers a block off plate for the exhaust tip notch. It doesn't look too out of place IMO, but I do agree about the dual tip.
But i'm done with trying exhausts, this is it for me now

wow, sounds nice. my only objections are the "missing tip" and the price. but damn, it really does sound good!

doesn't it look funny if you only have one tip of exhaust and there are two tip spaces on the bumper?

No, we never had a chance to dyno this exhaust with baseline and after install. Out of all the exhausts I have had however, this exhaust feels like one of the more powerful, better than the HKS hi-power TI i removed for this one. Jason has stock cats on his car, i have the crawfords on mine.

i dont like the look of that single tip at all.. even thought its light what justifies the cost when compared to amuse b/c it at least is full TI? You guys can make some kind of diffuser for under there that would probably work better at deflecting the air but if tonys butt dyno senses a power increase i guess is worth it.. lets see some #'s.. or you could always do big cut outs like the eg hatchy boys
