Default Strup Headers/Impressions

A few weeks ago I ordered a pair of strup. First off I would like to say their customer service is top notch. I was part of a local pick up deal which made me happy. Now to the important things. Install was very straight forward, hardest part was taking off the old headers. After everything was dissembled the headers fit right on with no issues at all. Fitment was amazing. Only problem was one of bolts is a real pain to get on tight but besides that everything went smooth. Now I decided not write anything about these for a few weeks to see how the performance was. My mods were an AAM angled spacer and an intake before the headers. Now I feel that the car does pull stronger mid range from 4k and up. Everyone knows that butt dyno’s arnt proof of gains but I know I can feel a difference. So take it for what its worth. I dont have all the time to take it to a dyno and all so sorry there are no proff of number gains. The car does have a deeper tone at idle so that’s nice but overall I am happy with them and for anyone that’s on the ball and can’t decide the price and warranty won me over. If you have any more questions or i left somthing out ill try to answer for you.

BTW - This is what I thought I am in no way affiliated with them. Im just trying let poeple know how MY install went thanks!

Thanks for the info. I bet after you open up your exhaust with some hi flow cats and bigger exhaust the headers will really shine.

Hey John,

Glad to hear you were able to get that last bolt tightened! It was a pleasure meeting up with you for this local sale, and I'm glad to hear that the install went well! Thanks for the nice feedback and please let me know if there's anything else we can do for you.. any more local sales interest (local to the Philly area), please let me know and I'll be glad to arrange it.

If there's local group interest, I can likely work out a deal with Strup for a group buy, and we can all meet up somewhere for a group pickup. Please post if interested. I'll keep an eye on this thread. PM me if you have any questions.

Our national sale is still in effect until the end of next week!

Thanks all!

just a note to everyone in reply to my previous post:

keep an eye out in the group buys under Marketplace. I've just spoken with Charlie Wenstrup over at Strup Performance. He's agreed to work one last big sale via a group buy! Stay tuned.

Thanks all for your support. Charlie and I really appreciate it!
