Default injen hydroshields

seems like a great idea to me for a CAI. It'll for sure prevent water from getting sucked up, and instead of the filter getting dirty which is harder to clean, you can just take this thing off, wash it and put it back on while the filter stays pretty much clean

anyone have any ideas on how much these restrict air?

What I'm not getting is if these prefilters are so great, why have a regular filter at all and not just use these?

IMO, that's a useless gimmick. You're worried about water ingestion, which will only happen when the filter is submerged. A wet filter isn't gonna do any damage.
