Guys, I am looking to get a Y-pipe soon. I want the Gruppe-S y-pipe but they have been on backorder for a while and no idea when they will have some more.

I found this Megan Racing Y-Pipe on Ebay and it has the same specs as the Gruppe-S Y-pipe. I had Megan Racing Headers and Test Pipe on my 93 Honda Prelude and didn't have any problems with their quality but this is going on my Z. I dont want any crappy parts going on my Z.

Does anyone have this Y-Pipe or any experience with it that could help me decide it I should buy this? The price is nice but I don't want to put a part on my car that is low quality.

I was being sarcastic in my response...I agree the reply didnt help much....

 

Well, I just bought one a month ago and the quality/looks seems to be ok. I just don't like how they merged the Y-pipe together at the end. There was some excess piping left at the end flange. I also didn't like how they wrapped it and shipped it to me.

 

If you have the extra $180 bucks i would get the Jic or Nismo. Or just save. I wouldnt put megan on my car. IMO

i really want a y-pipe to mate to my nismo exhaust.

would this be okay? i got the exhaust used with no y-pipe.

 

dont see why it wouldnt, I have a megan y-pipe and an invidia exhaust that will be up for sale soon.

 

Its fine , and i would buy another if you couldnt afford another XYZ pipe.
