I received my intake on the 24th. I planned on installing it yesterday since I had the day off from work but the directions that came with the intake are very poor in my opinion. Not that the intake itself is hard to install but the procedure calls for removal of the front bumper or bumper cover and the directions for this are very poor. It's just 1 picture diagram with no other written instructions.

Maybe the Nissan service manual has a better description for front bumper removal.

does this void your warranty on engine?

 

del105--As far as warranty goes, yes it does Any modification done to your motor will void the warranty. However, if something goes wrong with your motor your dealer would have to prove that the intake is at fault. There are also "mod-friendly" dealers out there. As far as intakes go, they do not cause any "bad" conditions for the motor so you will be safe.
