Default SFR Borla Cat-Back

Wanted to see if any of you guys have heard anything about Speed Force Racing's Borla Cat-back exhaust system. I downloaded the video clip of the exhaust on their site, but still don't really know how I feel about it. The exhaust seems to be very well constructed and free flowing. One of my biggest concerns is that this exhaust might be a little too loud for a daily driver.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I actually just ordered mine last week for my G35c. It should be done by monday Tim said...I wasn't planning on putting it on til' the first week of november (greddy TT kit being installed). If i get bored i might throw it on to see what it sounds like NA. The exhaust wasn't cheap at all so I hope it sounds like it did in the clip otherwise im going to be one unhappy person .

That video was shot indoors. Exhaust won't sound as loud out in the open.

yes keep that in mind.....i knew that from the beginning...it's probably a lot louder b/c it's in a warehouse and it's echo'ing off the walls...Tim said the exhaust sounds just like the video in person though so....we'll see. He also gave me a better price with the y-pipe included. 3" is ok for NA but I might lose some power....but then it splits into dual 3" at the very end which will more than likely kill some power for NA.
Now that I think of it I'm going to have to put it on before I take it in for the TT so I'll try n get some video of it. Now if I can only figure out how to load it on the computer.....

Ok so i picked it up on thur nite and install it friday afternoon....i only installed the exhaust after the y-pipe kuz Tim forgot to make the Y-pipe....so everything that could possibly go wrong w/ the install went wrong....eventually I had to cut off an inch from the straight pipe provided and it finally fit...One tip stuck out further than the other and it was angeled off to one side. Long story short.....I called up Tim and told him it didn't fit right and I was deff. not happy with the quality of my 1200 dollar purchase...He said he had sold quite a few already that had no problems at all, which im sure of.....but mine was just horrible. There was other things that went wrong with it too. Long story short, I'm shipping this exhaust back tomorrow (monday) and I'm gonna either do a fair exhchange for a greddy evo II or i might pay the difference for an HKS hi-power Ti if he can get it within a few weeks. Tim agreed that I could ship it back and get something else and he didn't have a problem with it. It sounded nice at WOT but it was kinda loud for a daily driver. There was no rasp at all either. I see your in San diego so if you decided to get this exhaust I suggest you have Tim install it just in case there's any fitment issues and he'll fix it for free.
Now......what exhaust to get.......hmmm
